| The Compassion Foundation
was founded by members of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart
in Aurora, Illinois. |
| |
| Funding for the Compassion
Foundation comes from a variety of sources; private individuals,
corporations, 3rd party fundraisers and our annual golf outing
“Holes for Hope”. |

MISSION STATEMENT |
|
|
| THE
COMPASSION FOUNDATION, through its fund-raising efforts,
provides grants to groups and individuals who work with needy
people, giving preference to programs that enable people to help
themselves. |

Each
person has unique intellectual, emotional, spiritual and
physical potential. Because each person represents the
collective future of this nation, all must be considered the
nation’s most valuable and cherished resource.
The Compassion
Foundation (TCF) is a group of people who have come together in
order to do something about the needs and suffering in our
world. By joining together we are no longer just one individual
working alone, we become a People of God who bring God’s own
Compassionate Love to a broken world.
|
 |
|
|
|
Working together we
can make a difference by going to those people and places where
hardship is most acute and build a home there. We can enter
deeply into the most hidden corners of the world, and perform
the works of God. The result is that we not only offer
compassion, we learn compassion. |
| |
|
The
members of the Compassion Foundation wish to share this outlook
with other people in the State of Illinois and beyond and invite
those with the means to work with us in offering practical
assistance to those in need. |
